Lotus Garden Was Actually the First Los Angeles Based Family Business Venture That Proved To Be Unable To Withstand the Test of Time. an LA Times Article Highlighting the Restaurant's Signature Dish in the Early 1980s, Along With A Recipe for the Dish, Slippery Shrimp, Brought Visibility To the Yang Chow. Some Customers Came With the Article in Hand Asking To Try A Dish With A Memorable Name.
